plus i have been working alot of double shifts so i havn't had alot of time to pop in here latlty.

Computers are a pain in the ass.
I know it's what I do for a living, but the entire infrastructure that is set up to "make things easy" is the same one that allows pop up ads, spam, viruses, and shitloads of programs that you don't really need on your computer but they eat up drive space anyways.
About every 6 months to a year, I wipe my computer's program drive (I keep a separate drive for images, movies, and music) and ONLY reinstall the critical programs I need. (Photoshop, Cakewalk, Office, etc)
You would be STUNNED to see how much faster and more reliable a computer is when it doesn't have two or three years worth of shit floating around in it's registry.
